Question: I am driving from oakland ca to las vegas what the first casino i will come to and do the money drop out when?

It depends on what route you drive. If it's I-15 north, you hit some right at the state line. All the machines in Nevada give tickets now. There are a few old type machines that still drop coins, but they are few and far between, mostly at "ghost town " tourist casinos, like Virginia City.
