I don't think so. A tower room at El Cortez is $102.83 with tax if you reserve today. El Cortez is the original casino in Las Vegas opened before the end of WW2 in 1941. It is in a decaying area of the city almost two miles north of Sahara Avenue (so it is a long walk to an empty area of the strip). The same room is $44.07 tomorrow. ----------------- If they are getting that much for that place then I doubt that you will ever find anything on the strip for the same rate. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Let me tell you one trick. Reserve a room at the Days Inn Wild Wild West which is on Tropicana just east of the Interstate 15 ($60 a night). Then you can either walk down Tropicana or if you make reservations at a restaurant at the Aria hotel and Casino you can drive into Aria into their private entrance across I-15 (Harmon Ave.). They block the highway, but let you thrrough if you have reservations in one of the restaurants. Even if the garage fills up it is about a 1500 yard walk. You'll be front and center. |
